What a week to start this year… It’s good to see you all again after a long holiday!🥰
This week, we talked about how their long holiday went. We shared in the class the places we visited and the foods we ate on Christmas and New Year’s day. Everybody was so excited to share their stories in front of the class! Some of them said, they ate cake, pizza, fish, pasta and other Japanese traditional foods. That sounds good! Thank you for sharing, Canyon!✨
We are glad to know that despite the long break from school, our youngsters still remember our class rules and routines.⭐

明けましておめでとうございます。今年も宜しくお願い致します😊朝、泣けてしまう事もなく元気に登園してきてくれたみんなの笑顔で、2023年のキャニオンクラスも賑やかにスタートしました🎉そして年末年始にはこんな物を食べたよ！こんなところへ行ったよ！おじいちゃんおばあちゃんに会えたよ！など、みんなの楽しかった思い出をクラスでシェアしました🥰🥰年末に話しをした食べ物については、ケーキ、ピザ、パスタなどの子ども達が大好きな食べ物や、おせちやお雑煮など日本の伝統的な食べ物を答えてくれた子もいました。ご家庭でもご協力頂き、ありがとうございました✨
長い休みの間も、子どもたちがクラスのルールや日課を覚えていてくれるのは嬉しいことです⭐今週Caring、Balanced、Best in Englishに選ばれたお友達👑おめでとう👏！

As we welcomed the new month of January, we started to trace number.✍🏻 Our little ones easily learned the proper ways of writing number 1. We were also amazed that they can now write their names on their own! Great job!🌟
数字の1のなぞり書きです✍🏻鉛筆を正しく持つこと、ゆっくり丁寧になぞることを心掛け取り組みました。また、机に貼ってある名札を見ながら自分の名前をワークシートに書いたり、中にはもう自分で書ける子もいて驚きました🌟
Creativity can be defined as the journey through which we use and develop our imaginations, originality, productivity and problem-solving abilities.
We know how talented, creative and artistic our young ones are that’s why we engage them with different activities which can help them develop their coordination, self-expression, and fine motor skills. Also, we give them enough free time and space to freely explore their imaginations.💫
子どもたちの想像力は本当に豊かで、遊びの中から多くの事を学んでいます。キャニオンでは様々なアクティビティ（クラフトコーナーや、次のユニットにちなんだ新しいブロックに絵本、粘土、塗り絵、アルファベットパズルに正月遊びの福笑い）を用意し、好きなときに好きな遊びを自分自身で選び、遊び込めるよう、十分な自由時間とスペースを確保しています。
