This week Waterfall and Canyon class teamed up to face some scary climbs to the top of the jungle gym at the park. Many students said it was scary, but they were happy because it was fun. They learned to embrace their fears and learn new things, which is a great way for risk-takers to express their feelings. They also ran around to catch some beautiful fallen autumn leaves, acorns and bubbles!
今週、ウォーターフォールクラスとキャニオンクラスは、公園のジャングルジムの“ちょっとこわい”てっぺんに挑戦しました！
「こわい〜！」と言う子がたくさんいましたが、渡り終えると「楽しかった！」とニコニコ😊
こわい気持ちと向き合いながら新しいことに挑戦する姿は、まさにリスクテイカー（挑戦する子）！そのあとは、落ち葉やどんぐり、銀杏の実を拾ったり、シャボン玉を追いかけたりして、秋の公園をたっぷり楽しみました。
Waterfall and Canyon Class also enjoyed singing and dancing together in Morning Circle. Waterfall students were very happy to teach Canyon students the ABC stretch, after everyone sang the ABC song!
朝の会では、ウォーターフォールとキャニオンが一緒になって、楽しく歌って踊りました！
ウォーターフォールの子どもたちは、みんなでABCソングを歌ったあと、キャニオンクラスのお友達にABCストレッチを嬉しそうに教えることができました。
Waterfall class is discussing LOI 2: Our feelings arise from different situations and reasons. Students rolled the dice to talk about different activities that give them different feelings, especially what makes them feel happy. Many students enjoy singing, dancing and time with friends and family! Show and Tell is also a big Waterfall favorite and everyone has been very happy sharing their creations, finds, and experiences with the class!
ウォーターフォールクラスでは、引き続き LOI 2：「気持ちはいろいろな状況や理由から生まれる」 について話し合っています。サイコロを振って当たった子に「何をすると嬉しい気持ちになる？」と聞いて答えてもらいました。歌やダンス、お友だちや家族と過ごす時間がうれしい！と感じる子が多かったです。いろいろな活動が自分の気持ちにどんな影響を与えるかこれからも探求していきます。
ショー・アンド・テルは、ウォーターフォールの子たちが大好きな活動のひとつ。
自分が作ったもの、見つけたもの、体験したことをみんなに共有して、とてもうれしそうにしています。
In this autumn weather we are enjoying a few sunny days, very windy days, and we can always count on the rain! Some students said they feel happy when it rains, and others feel sad. Students sang their new song, “What’s the Weather,” and practiced counting rain drops to make themselves cute rainbow umbrellas.
そして、秋らしいお天気の中、晴れの日、風の強い日、そして必ずやってくる雨の日も楽しんでいます。
「雨が降ると嬉しい！」という子もいれば、「ちょっと悲しい…」と話す子もいました。
子どもたちは新しい歌 “What’s the Weather” を歌い、雨粒を数えてかわいい虹色の傘を作りました🌈
