The time has come for the Rainforest students to create sentences independently. To practice, the whole class engaged in a word game where they combined words to see if their sentences made sense. Some of the sentences were so silly that they made everyone laugh, while others were impressive enough to earn applause from their classmates.
Rainforestクラスでは子ども達が、自主的に文章を作る時が来ました。「誰がどこで誰といつ何をした」という文を作るのに、不安な子はそれぞれのカードを枠にあてはめながら文を作ったり、チャレンジしたい子は、自分でカードを選び、机の上で並べながら文を作っていました。みんなを笑わせるようなくだらない文もあれば、クラスメイトから拍手をもらうような印象的な文もありました。
The learner profile book is still in progress. The students are working on drawing scenarios that showcase the different attributes of the learner profile. These attributes will help them become successful elementary students and enhance their overall experience.
引き続き、学習者像のさまざまな属性を示すシナリオを自分で考えて絵を描き、自分のオリジナルの学習者プロファイルブック作りをしています。これらの属性は、小学校に向けて、そして人としても子ども達の経験を前向きにし役立たせていく事でしょう。
Our little inquirers have encountered a new sound in Phonics this week: /ew/. For provocation, they observed items like “screws,” “newspapers,” and “jewelry.” They discussed what these items are called and tried to figure out how they relate to our Phonics lesson. After guessing the common sound among the words, they delved deeper to find more words that had the same sound.
今週のフォニックスでは、新しい音 /ew/を学びました。そのきっかけとして、 「ネジ」、「新聞」、「宝石 」の単語を観察し、これらが何と呼ばれているか、フォニックスのレッスンとどのように関連しているかを考えました。これらの単語に共通する音を推測した後、同じ音を持つ単語をさらに探しました。
