Welcome, everyone!

In our UOI lesson, the students had an exciting time creating their own stories using the elements of a story. They carefully thought about their ideas, came up with unique titles, and described their settings and characters. Each student worked hard to write the beginning, middle, and end of their story, showing great imagination and understanding of how stories are built. It was amazing to see how creative they were in bringing their ideas to life. Job well done, everyone!

「物語」に関する探究で、Rainforestさん達は「物語の要素」を使って自分自身のストーリーを作るという、とてもワクワクする活動を行いました。自分たちでアイデアを出し、ユニークなタイトルを考え、舞台や登場人物を丁寧に描きました。子どもたちが考えた物語の始まり・中間・終わりを見ると、想像力の豊かさと物語の作り方をよく理解していることがわかりました。みんなのお話は興味深く、可愛らしいものばかりでした！自分の考えを生き生きと形にしていく姿は本当に素晴らしかったです。

We are so pleased that everyone had a fantastic time enjoying the games, singing fun songs, and dancing together. It was wonderful to see all the smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the celebration. Your energy and creativity truly made the party a memorable and fun-filled event for all!

ゲームを楽しんだり、楽しい歌を歌ったり、一緒にダンスをしたりと、みんなが素敵な時間を過ごしてくれたことをとても嬉しく思います。
パーティーの間中、笑顔や笑い声、ワクワクした表情がたくさん見られて本当に素晴らしかったです。
皆さんのエネルギーと創造力のおかげで、またひとつ思い出に残るイベントが増えましたね！

We started by talking about what sequencing means and why it’s important for putting events in order. Then, we looked back on our Halloween party and remembered all the fun things we did — from arriving in our spooky costumes to playing games, singing songs, and dancing together. After that, the children did an activity where they drew and wrote the sequence of events. It was a fun way to reflect on our celebration, connect it to our UOI lesson, and practice sequencing at the same time!

今週は、物語の「順序づけ（sequencing）」とは何かを話し合い、そして出来事を正しい順番に並べることがなぜ大切なのかについて話しました。その後、ハロウィンパーティーを振り返り、仮装をして登園したことから、ゲームをしたり、歌を歌ったり、一緒にダンスをしたりと、楽しかったことをみんなで思い返しました。
そのあと、子どもたちはパーティーの出来事を順番に絵と文で表すアクティビティに取り組みました。「友達と一緒に車で来た」、「先生はいちごの服を着ていたよ」、「迷路のゲームが楽しかった」など、楽しいイベントを周りにいるお友達と振り返りながら、夢中になってその時の様子を描いていました。楽しみながら物語の作り方を学べる良い機会になりました！
