Oh No! Oni! Waterfall students cut, colored and peeked through little eye holes. The demon masks are ready just in time for the Setsubun Festival next week!

ウォーターフォールの子どもたちは、はさみで切ったり、色を塗ったり、小さな目の穴からのぞいてみたりしながら制作を楽しみました。
鬼のお面は、来週の節分にぴったり間に合って完成しました！さて I SNに鬼はやって来るのかな？！

Waterfall students sang a fun new song for Unit 4; “Driving in My Car!” Transportation helps us get from place to place, and it is very important to travel safely! So, Waterfall learned to follow directions, look both ways and look carefully! Can you build transport? Yes, I can! They looked carefully at pictures of different transportation then built their own vehicles using lots of different shapes.

ユニット4に向けて、ウォーターフォールクラスは新しい楽しい歌「Driving in My Car！」 を歌いました。
のりものは、私たちをいろいろな場所へ連れて行ってくれる大切な存在です。そして、安全に移動することもとても重要です。
子どもたちは、指示をよく聞くこと、左右を確認すること、そして周りをよく見ることを学びました。

「Can you build transport？」「Yes, I can！」
さまざまなのりものの写真をじっくり観察し、さまざまな形を使って、のりもの作りにも挑戦しました！完成した作品には自分の名前をアルファベットで書くことにも挑戦しました♪

How far everyone has come this year! Students blended a few ABC puzzles to help on their journey of learning the letters, and now recognizing the names of different types of transportation! After Phonics, we took a look at some transportation themed Show and Tell items that students shared this week. “How did you get there? – By plane? or By bus?” Then students stuck all of the new kinds of transportation on land, in the water, or in the sky!

この一年で、子どもたちは本当に大きく成長しました！
アルファベットのパズルを組み合わせて文字の学びを深め、今ではさまざまなのりものの名前も分かるようになっています。
フォニックスの後には、のりものがテーマの「Show and Tell」も楽しみました。
「どうやって行ったの？ 飛行機？ それともバス？」と問いかけながら、陸・海・空に分けて、新しいのりものをIBウォールに貼りました。
