Throughout this week Waterfall students have been on the move and exploring different types of transportation and the ABCs with their transportation puzzles!
今週、Waterfallの子どもたちは、さまざまな乗りものについて探究しながら、交通をテーマにしたパズルを通して、アルファベットにも親しんできました！
Next, Waterfall students shared neat vehicles for Show and Tell! One of the learner attributes for this month is to be an inquirer and to ask lots of questions, in order to become knowledgeable. We are very proud to see that everyone in Waterfall class is asking so many strong questions like- Does it open? – How did you make it? and What can it do? The students are moving in the right direction really fast!
次に、Show and Tellでは、素敵な乗りものを紹介してくれました！
今月のラーナーアトリビュートは「Inquirer（探究する人）」です。知識を深めるために、たくさんの質問をすることを大切にしています。Waterfallクラスでは、「開くの？」「どうやって作ったの？」「何ができるの？」など、質問がたくさん聞かれ、とても誇らしく思います。子どもたちは、進む方向へぐんぐんと成長しています！
Later, students did even more research to learn where and how vehicles move, by playing with a multi-story parking garage. They were very curious to see whether the transportation functioned in the same way that many have witnessed in real life. So, they checked that all the wheel, doors and compartments on each vehicle rolled, opened or closed properly! -Look it can open!
その後も、乗りものがどこをどのように動くのかを学ぶために、立体駐車場のおもちゃを使ってさらに調べました。実際に見たことのある乗りものと同じように動くのかに興味をもち、それぞれの車のタイヤやドア、収納部分がきちんと動くか、開いたり閉じたりするかを確かめていました。
「見て！開いたよ！」という声も聞こえてきました。
LOI 2 is all about getting from place to place safely – All Savanna bound students discussed and practiced how to cross the road and follow the signs and signals out in the real world. They looked out for Walk and Don’t Walk lights to sharpen their reflexes, cross the street and, become more knowledgeable about road safety!
金曜日には、次のワクワクする冒険「エアポートパーク」へのお出かけを予定しています。それに向けて、子どもたちは交通安全についてさらに学んでいきます。
LOI 2では、「安全に目的地へ移動すること」をテーマに、道路の渡り方や標識・信号の見方について話し合い、練習を行いました。歩行者用の信号（進め／止まれ）をよく見て、安全に道路を渡る方法を学び、交通安全への理解を深めています。
Waterfall students will all be focusing on more safety before taking-off on our next exciting adventure to the Airport Park on Friday! All passengers please prepare for liftoff!
