To start this week some Waterfall students spent even more time in Canyon Class to preview their experience next year in Savanna, so they had Circle Time and everyone ventured to Blue Park together to enjoy the sunny day. Then later in the week they collaborated for the last Gym Class of the year!

今週のはじめには、来年度Savannaクラスへ進む準備として、Waterfallクラスの子どもたちの一部（３歳以上児）がCanyonクラスで過ごす時間を持ちました。Circle Timeに参加したり、みんなでBlue Parkへ出かけて、暖かい日差しの中で楽しい時間を過ごしました。週の後半には、今年度最後の体育の時間も一緒に活動しましたよ。

Last Chance! Waterfall has now moved on from Transportation centered show and tell items and bring anything that they would like to share with their friends. We had two very excited and knowledgeable volunteers sharing this week!

いよいよラストチャンス！
Waterfallクラスでは、これまで乗り物をテーマにしていたShow & Tellが終わり、これからは友だちに紹介したいものを自由に持ってくることができます。今週は、とてもワクワクした様子の2人の子どもたちが、自信をもって塗り絵や描いた絵を発表してくれました！

While there are still a few flurries of snow, Spring is nearly here! We took a look outside and noticed that the trees are still bare, but as it warms up they will begin to bloom. So, Waterfall students completed the cycle of seasons on our IB Wall tree by making beautiful Sakura blossoms!

まだ時々雪がちらつく日もありますが、春はもうすぐそこまで来ています。外を見てみると、木々はまだ葉がありませんが、もう少し暖かくなれば、少しずつかわいらしい花が咲き始めるでしょう。そこでWaterfallクラスの子どもたちは、IBウォールの木に美しい桜の花を作って飾り、季節のサイクルを完成させました！　

What a bright and happy backdrop to say goodbye and celebrate a cheerful year spent with Ms. Serena! We will miss you!

その明るく華やかな背景のもとで、Ms. Serenaと過ごした楽しい一年を振り返りながら、お別れと感謝の気持ちを伝えました。きっと寂しくなりますね。

Also, we thought if flowers are not outside yet, then we should plant them ourselves! Waterfall thinkers and communicators helped to mix the soil, dig holes and water our new colorful petunias!

そして、「まだ外に花が咲いていないなら、自分たちで植えよう！」ということで、Waterfallの子どもたちは土を混ぜたり、穴を掘ったり、水をあげたりして、色とりどりのペチュニアを植えました。Thinkers（考える人）やCommunicators（伝える人）として協力しながら取り組む姿が見られました。「花が育つためには何が必要だろう？」という質問をすると、子どもたちは口々に「Water!」「Sun!」、「Sand…..? No, Soil!!」といままでの学びを振り返って答えてくれました。　Great job!!

Waterfallで過ごす日々もあと４日！　進級が楽しみですね♡
