Hello everyone! Another fun, full of excitement, and momentous week for Rainbow! 

Park

We played in the park as much as possible. Spending time playing in the park is more than just a fun activity—it’s a powerful way to strengthen our mind, body, and soul. Whether running, climbing, playing sports, or simply enjoying nature, outdoor play offers countless benefits that improve our well-being.

皆さん、こんにちは！今週もレインボーにとって、楽しく、興奮に満ちた、大切な一週間となりました！

公園

私たちはできるだけ公園で遊びました。公園で遊ぶことは単なる楽しいアクティビティではありません。走ったり、登ったり、スポーツをしたり、ただ自然を楽しんだり、外遊びには私たちの健康を向上させる数え切れないほどの利点があります。

Clay

During the gloomy day, we had fun playing with clay. To connect it to our monthly theme, we made vehicles: a car, a fire engine truck, a motorbike, and more. The soft, moldable texture of clay allows little hands to explore, create, and learn in a fun and engaging way. Our little voices echoed throughout the classroom, sharing our thoughts on what kind of vehicle we wanna make.

どんよりとした天気の日、私たちは粘土遊びを楽しみました。毎月のテーマにちなんで、車や消防車、バイクなどの乗り物を作りました。粘土の柔らかくて成形しやすい質感は、小さな手が楽しく夢中になって遊び、創造し、学ぶことを可能にしてくれます。どんな乗り物を作ろうか、子どもたちの小さな声が教室中に響き渡りました。

Setsubun

We celebrated the Setsubun last Monday. We were all excited and, for a time, a little bit scared, thinking that the demon might come to our classroom. When the demon came, we fought back by throwing a paper ball and kicking the demon out.

先週の月曜日、私たちは節分を迎えました。鬼が教室にやってくるかもしれないと思い、子どもたちはわくわくし、ちょっと怖くもなりました。鬼が来たとき、私たちは紙玉を投げて鬼を追い出しました。

Gym

 We had the perfect timing of a snowy day, and we did our gym lesson outside and wore snow gear. We were delighted when we knew that we would do it outside. We could enjoy the snow while learning different movements to build our muscles. First, we listened to what it sounded like when we stepped on the snow. The kids were curious about the sound and walked around for a while. We jumped as high as possible, and the teacher added a pool noodle to jump higher and reached to touch. Our eagerness to touch it was incredible! We filled the cone with snow ice, too. Lastly, we played the chasing tail game. 

雪の降る日という絶好のタイミングに恵まれ、ジム・レッスンを外で行うため、スノーウェアを身につけました。外でやるとわかると、子どもたちは大喜びでした。雪を楽しみながら、筋肉をつけるためのさまざまな動きを学ぶことができました。まず、雪を踏んだときの音を聞きました。子どもたちはその音に興味津々で、しばらく歩き回っていました。子どもたちはできるだけ高くジャンプし、先生はより高くジャンプするためにプールで使う棒を追加し、子どもたちはタッチしようと手を伸ばしました。子どもたちのタッチしたいという熱意はすごかったです！子どもたちはコーンに雪をいっぱいになるまで入れました。最後は、しっぽ取りゲームをしました。

Music

 We reviewed what we did last week, such as tong and pa with pairs, walking around, and saying the names of shops by syllables. We also clapped and walked steps simultaneously. We sang the “ Ten Little Indians” and clapped our hands once, then tapped our laps thrice repeatedly until the music was finished.

私たちは先週やったことの復習をしました。ペアになってトンとパをしたり、歩き回ったり、お店の名前を五十音で言ったりしました。また、手拍子と足踏みを同時に行いました。「10人のインディアン」を歌い、音楽が終わるまで、手を1回たたいた後、膝を3回たたくことを繰り返しました。

Worksheet

We colored the airplane for our monthly theme and traced different types of lines. We also did the letter “D” tracing lines.

毎月のテーマに沿って飛行機に色を塗り、いろいろな種類の線をなぞりました。「D 」の文字もなぞりました。

Snow play

We had so much fun and were lucky to play in the snow. Listening to the sound of the snow when we stepped on it was interesting and made us curious. We even made a snowman!

雪の中で遊べてとても楽しい時間を過ごすことができ、ラッキーでした。雪を踏んだときの音を聞くのは興味深く、好奇心をそそられました。雪だるまも作りましたよ！
