What an exciting and joyful week it has been in our 3-year-old class! Every day, the children continue to amaze us with their growing confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning.
3歳児クラスでは、今週もわくわくと笑顔があふれる素晴らしい1週間となりました！
子どもたちは日々、自信や好奇心、そして学ぶことへの意欲をますます育み、その成長に私たちも驚かされています。
Our park adventures were filled with laughter, movement, and exploration. The children climbed, ran, balanced, and explored the environment with excitement and determination. It was heartwarming to see them encouraging one another, taking turns, and building stronger friendships through play. Outdoor experiences like these continue to support not only their physical development, but also their social and emotional growth.
公園での活動では、たくさんの笑顔や体を動かす楽しさ、そして発見にあふれていました。
子どもたちは、登ったり、走ったり、バランスを取ったりしながら、わくわくした気持ちで意欲的に環境を探索していました。遊びを通して、お友だちを応援したり、順番を守ったりしながら、友だちとのつながりを深めている姿はとても微笑ましかったです。このような戸外での経験は、子どもたちの身体的な成長だけでなく、社会性や心の成長にもつながっています。
One of the most exciting moments this week was school yard play! The children had the wonderful opportunity to interact and play with students from the upper classes. Watching them confidently mix with older children, observe new games, and join in the fun was truly special. The school yard was full of smiles, laughter, energy, and excitement — it was truly fun galore!
今週の中でも特に盛り上がった活動のひとつが、スクールヤード遊びでした！子どもたちは、年上のクラスのお友だちと一緒に関わりながら遊ぶという素敵な機会を楽しみました。年上のお友だちと自信を持って関わったり、新しい遊びを見たり、一緒に楽しんだりする姿はとても印象的でした。スクールヤードには、たくさんの笑顔や笑い声、元気いっぱいの姿があふれ、本当に楽しい時間となりました！
In our Unit of Inquiry (UOI), we began exploring the second line of inquiry by learning about the parts of the body. The classroom was filled with excitement as the children explored body part flashcards, pointed to different parts of their own bodies, and confidently shared what they knew. Some students eagerly came to the board to point out body parts to their classmates, showing growing confidence and participation.
UOI（探究の時間）では、2つ目のLOIとして「体の部分」についての探究が始まりました。子どもたちは、体のパーツカードを見たり、自分の体を指さしたりしながら、知っていることを自信を持って伝えてくれました。前に出て、お友だちに体の部分を教えてくれる姿も見られ、少しずつ自信や積極性が育っていることを感じています。
To make learning even more engaging, songs and movement activities were introduced throughout the week. The children loved singing action songs, moving their bodies, and pointing to different body parts while learning new vocabulary. Through these fun and interactive experiences, they are beginning to understand how many body parts we have, proudly saying things such as “two eyes,” “two hands,” “two feet,” and “one nose.”
さらに楽しく学べるよう、今週は歌や体を動かすアクティビティもたくさん取り入れました。子どもたちは、アクションソングを歌いながら体を動かしたり、体の部分を指さしたりして、新しい言葉を楽しみながら学んでいました。こうした遊びを通して、「目は2つ」「手は2つ」「足は2つ」「鼻は1つ」など、体のつくりについて少しずつ理解を深めています。
Another proud moment this week has been seeing the children become more confident during class activities and routines. Many students are now willingly coming to the front of the class to point, answer questions, and share ideas with their friends. They are also beginning to show a stronger understanding of our classroom agreements as they actively join in reviewing them during circle time and eager to show and tell.
また今週は、クラス活動や日々のルーティンの中で、子どもたちの自信がさらに育っている姿も見られました。前に出て指をさしたり、質問に答えたり、自分の考えをお友だちに伝えたりする子どもたちが増えてきています。サークルタイムでは、クラスルールを一緒に確認しながら理解を深めたり、「Show and Tell」に意欲的に参加したりする姿も見られました。
Our music lessons are also becoming more exciting each week. The children are becoming increasingly familiar with rhythms, songs, and movement activities. It has been wonderful to watch them actively participate, express themselves freely, and enjoy making music together as a class.
音楽のレッスンも、毎週ますます楽しめる時間になっています。子どもたちはリズムや歌、体を動かす活動にも少しずつ慣れ、積極的に参加しています。自由に表現しながら、みんなで一緒に音楽を楽しむ姿がとても素敵でした。
After paying close attention to what this week’s drill was all about, they participated in it successfully.
今週行われた避難訓練では、先生の話をよく聞き、訓練の目的を理解しながら、落ち着いて参加することができました。
It has truly been a week filled with exploration, confidence, laughter, and meaningful learning experiences. We are so proud of how much the children are growing each day and cannot wait to see what next week brings!
