みなさん、こんにちは。
入園2週目に入り、早速子ども達の個性が光り出しています。最初は緊張や恥ずかしがり屋さんでモジモジしていたお友達も、少しずつ先生やお友達、そしてクラスの雰囲気や英語での生活にも慣れ、様々な形で気持ちを見せてくれるようになってきました。泣いて笑って、おしゃべりしたり、怒ったり、走り回ってみたり…。このスクールやクラスが安全で安心できる場所だと感じてくれていたら嬉しいです。子ども達の弾むような笑顔と活気は、突然空に現れた虹を見つけた時のように私達を幸せな気持ちにしてくれています。様々な色に輝くレインボーさん達と楽しく遊び一緒に学ぶ毎日を楽しんでいます。
Hello everyone.
It’s the second week of new school year and the children’s personalities are already starting to shine. Some of the children were nervous, shy and fidgety at first, but they have gradually gotten used to the teachers and friends, the atmosphere in the class and life in English, and are now showing their emotions in various ways. They cry, laugh, talk, get angry, run around… I wonder if they feel that this school and class are a safe and secure place. Our children’s bouncy smiles and vitality make us feel happy, like when we suddenly find a rainbow in the sky. We enjoy playing with the rainbows that shine in various colors and learning together every day.
今月のトピックス（話題）は「色」です。子ども達は既に様々な色を知っていました。この色について楽しみながら英語で学びを深めていきます。今週は色にまつわるいくつかの活動をしました。ひとつはカラフルな蝶を捕まえて籠に入れるゲーム形式の活動でした。先生が指定した色の蝶を探して拾い、お友達に何色の蝶を捕ったかを発表しました。もうひとつは箱の中からボールを選び取り、それをクラスのみんなに見せながら何色のボールを取ったかを発表しました。箱の中は見えないようになっていたのでみんなドキドキしながら選び、嬉しそうにお友達に見せてくれました。みんなよく出来ました！
This month’s topic is “colors.” Our children already knew a variety of colors. They will have fun learning about these colors in English. This week we did several color-related activities. In one, our children chose a ball from a box, showed it to the rest of the classmates, and announced what color ball they had picked. The inside of the box was hidden, so the children were excited as they chose, and showed it to their friends with joy. The other activity was a game where they had to catch colorful butterflies and put them in a basket. They had to find and pick up butterflies of the color specified by the teacher and then tell their friends what color butterfly they had caught. Well done everyone!
子ども達の適用力に驚きます。毎日の日課を覚え、椅子に座ることも、まっすくに並ぶことも、キレイに手を洗うこともあっという間に覚え、身につけています。先生の話をよく聞き、もう英語の指示も理解し始めています。素晴らしい子ども達です。
We are amazed at the children’s adaptability. They have quickly learned the daily routine, learned how to sit in their chairs, line up in a straight line, and washed their hands properly. They listen carefully to the teachers and are already beginning to understand instructions in English. They are wonderful children!!
今週は始めてのジムレッスンがあり、初めてのミュージックレッスンがありました。子ども達は興味津々でそれぞれの活動を楽しみました。遊びもどんどん勢いを増し、元気いっぱいです。笑ったり、声を出したり、身体を動かしたり…そんな日々の積み重ねが子ども達の「生きる力」を育んでくれると信じます。
This week we had our first gym lesson and our first music lesson. Our children were very interested and enjoyed each activity. They are playing more and more enthusiastically and are full of energy. We believe that laughing, making noises, moving their bodies…these daily activities will help develop children’s “Power to live.”
