On May 30, ISN had the pleasure of participating in the International Education Fair 2026, held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center.

The event brought together approximately 150 schools, including international schools, preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools with a strong focus on global education. The venue was filled with families exploring educational opportunities for their children, creating an energetic and inspiring atmosphere throughout the day.

While many of the participating schools were based in the Greater Tokyo area, we were delighted to welcome a large number of visitors to the ISN booth. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with families and share more about our educational approach and school community.

One of the most notable trends we observed was the growing interest in educational relocation to Nagano Prefecture.

We had the opportunity to speak with families who have already established roots in Nagano, as well as those considering a move in the future. Many shared a common desire: to raise their children in a natural environment while providing them with a globally minded education.

Nagano continues to be one of Japan’s most attractive destinations for families seeking a high quality of life. Its beautiful natural surroundings, strong sense of community, and family-friendly environment make it an increasingly popular choice for relocation. At the same time, more families are looking for educational opportunities that prepare their children to thrive in an interconnected world.

At ISN, we believe that education extends beyond language acquisition. Our programs are designed to nurture curiosity, independence, critical thinking, and respect for diverse perspectives. We are committed to providing an environment where children can grow as confident global citizens while remaining connected to their local community.

The fair reaffirmed that there is a growing number of families who resonate with ISN’s educational philosophy and learning environment. We were grateful for the opportunity to meet so many parents who share our vision for internationally minded education in Nagano.
