Closing Circle Open Day
This week, our class enjoyed a special Closing Circle Open Day with our parents. The students were very happy to share snack time together with their families, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere in the classroom. It was a lovely moment of togetherness, where children and parents enjoyed each other’s company and celebrated the day’s activities.
After snack time, we gathered for our reflection of the day. The children showed great confidence as they spoke in front of their parents, proudly sharing what they had learned. We also did a fun review activity about animals and their favorite foods. The children demonstrated their knowledge by correctly matching animals to their preferred foods and confidently saying sentences such as, “Rabbits like carrots,” and more. It was wonderful to see their growing understanding, communication skills, and confidence shine during this meaningful experience

This week, our class focused on learning the letter G and its sound through fun and engaging activities. The students explored words that begin with the /g/ sound, such as goat, gorilla, grapes, grass, guitar, glass, and more. They enjoyed repeating the words together and listening carefully to the beginning sound in each one.
The children then practiced tracing the capital letter G. This time, they also worked on holding their pencils correctly, building their fine motor skills and developing better writing control. They showed great effort and concentration as they carefully followed the lines to form the letter.

As we approach the long holiday, we would like to wish all our families a safe, restful, and enjoyable break. The children will be bringing all their belongings home today. Kindly take a moment to check their bags and ensure that all items are accounted for. Please also remember to send back any items that need to bring after the holiday.
Thank you for your continued support, and we wish you a wonderful holiday with your loved ones!
