The first day of summer school filled with laughter and sunshine as the Shooting Star and Milky Way students started their adventures with an early morning water play session. The kids eagerly splashed and played, cooling off while enjoying a refreshing start to their day. After working up an appetite, everyone went to a nearby blueberry farm and café for sweet treat. There, they enjoyed freshly picked blueberries paired with cool, creamy ice cream, a perfect treat that brought smiles all around.

On day two, Shooting Star students added sandcastle building to their list of favorite summer activities. With colorful materials in hand, they crafted and decorated sandcastles with creativity and care. Additionally, some sprinkled sequins and sand onto their creations to give each one a real touch.

To keep water play exciting, Shooting Star students made vibrant posters celebrating summer activities and wrote their names in bold. Then, they brought their artwork outside and added bright spray paint and spritzes under the hot sun. To prepare for the cold treats ahead, they also mixed and stirred their own colorful puffy paint ice cream cones.

Later, both the Shooting Star and Milky Way classes enjoyed another fun-filled cool pool day. They savored refreshing shaved ice treats and played lively yo-yo balloon fishing games. They later made banners to commemorate summers on the beach by making mock footprints stepping out of sandals and heading toward ocean waves!

Finally, as summer school came to a close, the Shooting Star class celebrated the season in a joyful way. The children smashed and bashed a juicy watermelon with joy, sharing laughter and teamwork before enjoying the sweet, sun-warmed fruit together on a beautiful day outside.
