This week, Grade 4 explored the idea of how our experiences and learning help shape who we are and who we become. Through a range of fun and thoughtful activities, students shared their ideas in creative ways.

One group focused on looking after pet cats, explaining how caring for animals teaches responsibility, patience, and kindness. They shared how feeding, cleaning, and spending time with pets helps people learn important life skills.

Another group designed an exciting board game based on making the best life choices. Players had to make decisions about school, friendships, health, and challenges along the way. The game showed how our choices can affect our journey and help us grow through both successes and mistakes.

A third group explored cooking and learning new skills in the kitchen. They explained how cooking helps us learn through practice, problem-solving, and perseverance. Students reflected on how making mistakes, trying again, and improving over time helps us make progress.

Through these presentations, Grade 4 showed a strong understanding that learning happens everywhere — through caring for others, making decisions, and trying new experiences. They demonstrated that every experience helps shape us as learners and as people.
