Hi everyone! Welcome to Rainbow’s second blog of the month.We kicked of our week by gathering in the music room to celebrate with those born in April.Shooting star’s Ms.Aiza and Ms.Kumi were in charge this month. They prepared a spring themed action game for us. Everyone had fun together and sang “Happy Birthday” with big smiles. It was a lovely moment of friendship and learning to celebrate others. Happy birthday to our very own S and M!! We hope this year will be fulled with lots of love and laughter for you.🥰🥳
レインボークラスの今月2回目のブログへようこそ！今週は、4月のお誕生日会からスタート！春をテーマにしたゲームをみんなで楽しみ、Happy Birthday♪を笑顔いっぱいで歌いました。SさんMさん、お誕生日おめでとう！たくさんの愛と笑顔あふれる、素敵な一年となりますように🥰🥳
Emergency drill
We practiced an earthquake drill to help the children learn how to stay safe. Their very first emergency drill!!The teachers gently guided them on what to do in a calm and simple way.They practiced listening carefully and following instructions.Some were unsure at first, but felt reassured by their teachers.It was a valuable experience to help everyone feel safe and prepared. We went over the O-HA-SHI-MO acronym as a class. O-don’t push, HA- no running, SHI- keep quiet and MO- don’t go back. Everyone did a great job!
地震を想定した、初めての避難訓練。子どもたちは驚いて泣いてしまうこともなく、先生と一緒に机に隠れ、落ち着いて駐車場まで避難することができました😊地震の避難の際に大切な「お・は・し・も」の約束もみんなで確認しました。

Our colors topic
We practiced identifying and naming colors in English.We used songs, colored balls, and other classroom objects to make learning meaningful. Some children began to confidently say their favorite colors.It was wonderful to see their excitement as they discovered the colorful world around them.
今月のテーマ「Color」にちなんで、歌やボール、教室にあるものを使いながら様々な色の名前を楽しく覚えています。自分の好きな色を、自信を持って答えられる子も出てきましたよ！身の回りのカラフルな世界にきづき、ワクワクしている子どもたちの姿がとても印象的でした🌈
Craft
Rainbow friends explored their creativity through a fun and simple craft activity. Their very first craft!!They made bunnies with toilet paper rolls. Some children carefully followed instructions on how to paste eyes on the bunny’s face. We encouraged them to try, explore, and feel proud of their work.
今週は、初めてのクラフトにも挑戦！トイレットペーパーの芯を使って、イースターバニーを作りました🐇🩷芯の大きさやそれぞれのパーツは、すべて子どもたちが選び貼り付けましたよ。何を作るのかな？早く作りたい！と、順番が待ちけれない様子の子どもたちでした✨
Gym
Ms. Airi wasn’t around this week so we didn’t have a formal gym lesson.But we went to the gym anyway for the students to get used to riding on the bus and to move their bodies and let out some pent up energy!They enjoyed dancing, running and jumping with lots of energy.
今週はMs.Airiが不在でしたが、バスに乗ることに慣れ、しっかり体を動かしてエネルギーを発散するためジムへ行ってきました！ダンスをしたり、走ったり、ジャンプをしたり、思いきり体を動かし楽しんできました！
Outside play
Everyone had a great time playing outside with their friends.They ran around freely, enjoying the fresh air and open space.Many enjoyed the sandpit, making pretend food and sharing with others.We also practiced playing safely and being kind to our friends.It was a happy time filled with laughter and exploration.
天気の良い日が続き、外遊びも楽しみました！元気いっぱいに走り回ったり、砂場遊びも人気です。ごっこ遊びをしながら食べ物を作り、お友達と分け合う姿もありましたよ😊また、安全に遊ぶこと、お友達に優しくすることも意識しながら遊びました。笑顔と発見が溢れる、楽しいひとときとなりました！
The week ahead
We will continue exploring our COLORS topic. We will aldo keep doing our best to get used to school life and to become more independent with each passing day!
