Hello everyone!
This week marked our final Gym lesson before the summer break, and we enthusiastically took on a variety of movement challenges that supported their physical development and confidence.
We began with a fun warm-up by copying a bear walk, helping to strengthen our core muscles while encouraging coordination and body awareness. Next, we eagerly ran across the room to touch the table, practicing speed, spatial awareness, and self-management. We then carefully balanced our way across the beam, crawled through the tunnel, and finished by jumping confidently from the beam.
Lastly, we jumped on the beam bar. We showed courage to try new challenges while caring for our bodies through active play.

今週は夏休み前の最後のジムレッスンとなり、子どもたちは身体の発達と自信を高めるためのさまざまな運動チャレンジに、意欲的に取り組みました。
まずは、クマの歩き方を真似する楽しいウォームアップから始めました。これは体幹の筋肉を強化すると同時に、協調性や身体感覚を養うのに役立ちます。次に、子どもたちはテーブルに触れるために教室を勢いよく駆け抜け、スピードや空間認識、自己管理能力を養いました。その後、平均台の上を慎重にバランスを取りながら進み、トンネルを這って通り抜け、最後は自信を持って平均台から飛び降りて締めくくりました。
最後に、平均台の上でジャンプを行いました。子どもたちは、アクティブな遊びを通じて自分の体を大切にしながら、新しい挑戦に勇気を持って取り組みました。
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents who joined us for our Music Open Day. Your presence, encouragement, and support made the experience extra special for the children. It was wonderful to share this joyful learning moment.
We began our lesson with our familiar frog walk warm-up before moving into a variety of music and movement activities. The children were excited to perform and share what they have been learning over the past few weeks. Some confidently joined in with big smiles, while others felt a little shy or overwhelmed by having their families watching. Even so, every child participated in their own way and showed great courage by giving their best.
Throughout our music sessions, the children have been developing their listening skills, following instructions, and expressing themselves through movement and rhythm. This special day celebrated not only their musical growth but also their growing confidence as they continue to learn, explore, and enjoy new experiences together.

レッスンは、お馴染みの「カエルの歩き方」のウォームアップから始まり、その後、さまざまな音楽や動きを取り入れたアクティビティへと進みました。子どもたちは、ここ数週間で学んできたことを披露し、皆と分かち合えることにワクワクしていました。自信に満ちた笑顔で積極的に参加する子もいれば、ご家族が見ていることに少し恥ずかしさを感じたり、緊張してしまったりする子もいました。それでも、一人ひとりが自分なりの方法で参加し、ベストを尽くすという大きな勇気を示してくれました。
これまでの音楽の授業を通じて、子どもたちは「聴く力」を養い、指示に従うことを学び、動きやリズムを通じて自己表現する力を育んできました。この特別な日は、子どもたちの音楽的な成長だけでなく、共に学び、探求し、新しい体験を楽しむ中で育まれてきた自信の高まりをも祝うものでした。
This week, we gathered as a school community to celebrate the birthdays of our three wonderful celebrants. Happy Birthday to all of them!
Our brave Rainbow kids proudly performed “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” in front of all the classes. Although performing for a larger audience can feel a little overwhelming, they showed confidence and enthusiasm as they shared their song. It was a joyful celebration that highlighted their growing self-confidence, communication skills, and willingness to express themselves in front of others. We are so proud of our young performers for giving their best and making this celebration extra special! 🎉
🌟今週、私たちはスクールコミュニティとして一堂に会し、3人の素晴らしいお誕生日のお子さんの誕生日を祝いました。皆さん、お誕生日おめでとうございます！
たくましいレインボークラスの子どもたちは、全校のクラス全員の前で「Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star」を誇らしげに披露しました。大勢の観客の前で歌うのは少し緊張したかもしれませんが、子どもたちは自信と熱意を持って歌を披露してくれました。この楽しいお祝いの場では、子どもたちの自信やコミュニケーション能力、そして人前で自分を表現しようとする意欲が際立っていました。ベストを尽くし、このお祝いを特別なものにしてくれた小さな出演者たちを、私たちは心から誇りに思います！🎉
