Shooting Star is wrapping up the unit about Roles and Responsibilities in groups. They continued to share their interviews with favorite family members and express why certain family roles are meaningful to them in Show and Tell. The students shared their appreciation for all of the help, meals, joy and love that they receive from their parents, or siblings.
シューティングスタークラスでは、役割と責任についての単元をグループで締めくくりました。子どもたちは引き続き、お気に入りの家族へのインタビューを共有し、それぞれの家族の役割が自分にとってなぜ大切なのかを「見せっこ」の時間に表現しました。子どもたちは、両親や兄弟姉妹から受けるあらゆる助け、食事、喜び、そして愛情に感謝の気持ちを伝えました。
Next, they watched Daniel Tiger: Line Leader Daniel, to learn about equally important, but different roles in other schools. Even though Shooting Star students have their favorite jobs everyone can be caring and take turns with the responsibilities. Some students were excited to see different types of class jobs, and even want to add new, exciting roles to the list for the next unit!
次に、他の学校における同じように重要でありながらも異なる役割について学ぶため、「ダニエル・タイガー：ラインリーダー・ダニエル」を視聴しました。シューティングスタークラスの子どもたちにはそれぞれ好きな役割がありますが、みんなで思いやりを持って責任を分担することができます。様々な種類のクラスの役割を見て興奮した子どもたちもいて、次の単元では新しい、ワクワクする役割をリストに追加したいという子もいました。
On Tuesday, they learned a series of tangled steps in their Dance Class. However, each student persevered, learned the choreography and stuck a cool pose at the end!
火曜日には、ダンス教室で複雑なステップを習いましたが、子どもたちは皆諦めずに振り付けを覚え、最後にはかっこいいポーズを決めました！
Later, everyone talked about the important roles and responsibilities they should be able to handle independently at home, like brushing their teeth and cleaning up after themselves. As they grow and take on more tasks, having gentle reminders about their daily jobs can be really helpful. To make this fun and build their agency, Shooting Star students each chose three responsibilities they want to complete each day. Then, they created colorful To Do List signs and cute job markers, which they will proudly hang on the doors at home. This way, they have a cheerful and fun reminder of their tasks, encouraging them to stay organized and healthy while growing up!
その後、歯磨きや後片付けなど、家庭で自分でできるようになるべき重要な役割と責任について話し合いました。子どもたちが成長し、より多くのことを担うようになるにつれて、日々の役割について優しく促すことはとても役立ちます。この活動を楽しくし、主体性を育むために、シューティングスタークラスの子どもたちはそれぞれ、毎日やりたい3つの責任を選びました。それから、子どもたちはカラフルなToDoリストのサインとかわいい仕事マーカーを作り、それを家のドアに誇らしげに飾ります。こうすることで、子どもたちは楽しくて明るい気持ちでやるべきことを思い出すことができ、成長しながら整理整頓と健康的な生活習慣を身につけることができます！

Everyone would like to thank parents for joining us on Friday for lunch! We hope you enjoy the handmade, heartfelt grifts that Shooting Star created out of love and admiration for all that you do for them every day! Also, after some reading practice, they want to share a story about happy family trips with you. So, they have taken home Dad’s Read Tent for cozy bed time read!
