The Rainforest class has been excited to take part in one of Matsumoto’s biggest and most exciting summer events—the Matsumoto BonBon! Everyone has been preparing by practicing at home, dancing together, and proudly chanting, “ISN! International ISN!” It has been another wonderful opportunity for our students to experience the power of teamwork as they work toward a common goal alongside the rest of the ISN community. レインフォレストクラスでは、松本市で最も大きく、楽しい夏のお祭りの一つである**「松本ぼんぼん」への参加を、とても楽しみにしています。子どもたちはお家で練習したり、みんなで踊ったり、「ISN！International ISN！」と元気に掛け声をかけたりしながら準備を進めています。ISNコミュニティのみんなと共通の目標**に向かって取り組む中で、チームワークの大切さを実感する素晴らしい機会となっています。

Back in the classroom, the Rainforest class welcomed a special guest, Ms. Ann, an experienced volleyball player who is now an English teacher. She shared with the children how a volleyball team works by introducing the different roles and responsibilities of its members, including the captain, vice-captain, setter, and libero. The children learned that although each player has a different role and responsibility, every member contributes to the team’s shared goal—to play their best and achieve success together. 教室では、元バレーボール選手で現在英語教師として活躍されているMs. Annをお迎えしました。バレーボールチームには、それぞれ異なる役割と責任があることを紹介してくださり、キャプテン、副キャプテン、セッター、リベロなどの役割について教えていただきました。子どもたちは、一人ひとりが異なる役割を担いながらも、全員がチームの目標に向かって協力していることを学びました。

The most exciting part of the visit was when our little inquirers had the opportunity to step into the roles of volleyball players themselves. They enjoyed tossing, setting, and hitting the ball while experiencing firsthand how teamwork, communication, and individual responsibilities help a team work together. 一番盛り上がったのは、子どもたち自身がバレーボール選手になりきって、それぞれの役割を体験した時間です。ボールをトスしたり、セッティングをしたり、打ち返したりしながら、チームワーク、コミュニケーション、そして一人ひとりの役割と責任が、チームで目標を達成するためにどれほど大切かを体験を通して学びました。

To continue our inquiry, we also introduced the Rainforest Cup, an exciting series of team challenges that will begin next week. Through these collaborative games, students will have many opportunities to apply what they have learned about teamwork, roles, and responsibilities in fun and meaningful ways. さらに探究を深めるために、今週は**「レインフォレストカップ」もスタートしました。来週から始まるチームチャレンジでは、子どもたちがチームワークや役割と責任**について学んだことを、さまざまな活動を通して実践していきます。
