Hi everyone! Welcome to the first blog of the month of May. This blog includes the last two days of last week, after Golden week. We hope you all had a great golden week!This week, we focused on being Inquirers by asking questions and trying new things. It was a happy and busy week!

みなさん、素敵なゴールデンウィークを過ごせましたか？このブログでは、ゴールデンウィーク明けの先週最後の2日間の様子もお届けします。
今週は、たくさん質問をしたり、新しいことに挑戦したりしながら、「Inquirers（探究する人）」に焦点を当てて過ごしました。笑顔いっぱいの、忙しくも楽しい一週間でした！
Closing Circle Time Open Day
We had a special closing circle time with our parents. It goes without saying that this was the hughlight of our week!After nap time, the children got dressed up and showed their smiles. Parents came to watch and spent time with us. We ate afternoon snack together and did a colors activity. The children were Communicators and shared their learning with confidence.
保護者の皆さまと一緒に、特別なClosing Circle Timeを行いました。言うまでもなく、これは今週一番のハイライトでした！
お昼寝の後、パパやママを見つけたときの子どもたちの嬉しそうな笑顔😊 お着替えや手洗いを手伝ってもらいながら、一緒に楽しい時間を過ごしました。みんなで午後のおやつを食べたり、色を使ったアクティビティをしたりしました。
子どもたちは Communicators（伝える人） として、自信を持って自分たちの学びを共有していました。
Shapes Topic
This week we started exploring our new SHAPES topic. We learned about shapes like circle, square, and triangle. The children recited shape names and sang new “shapes songs”.
今週は、新しい「SHAPES（かたち）」のトピックの探究を始めました。
丸（circle）、四角（square）、三角（triangle）など、さまざまな形について学びました。子どもたちは形の名前を言ったり、新しい “Shapes Song” を歌ったりしながら楽しく学んでいます！
Park Time
At the park, the children ran, slid on the slide and played together. They enjoyed fresh air and movement. We practiced taking turns and sharing our big class balls. The children showed they are Balanced by playing and resting well.
公園では、子どもたちは走ったり、すべり台をしたり、一緒に遊んだりして楽しみました。新鮮な空気を感じながら、たくさん体を動かして過ごしました。
また、柔らかく大きなボールで遊ぶときには、順番を待つことやシェアすることも練習しています。子どもたちは、たくさん遊び、しっかり休むことで、Balanced（バランスのとれた人） の姿を見せてくれました。
Gym Lesson
In gym class, the children moved their bodies in many ways. We stretched,ran and danced to the tamago taiso song. The children listened carefully to Ms.Airi. They showed they are Principled by following rules. Everyone tried their best and had fun.
ジムレッスンでは、子どもたちはさまざまな動きで体を動かしました。ストレッチをしたり、走ったり、「たまごちゃん体操」の曲に合わせて踊ったりしました。
子どもたちはMs. Airiのお話をよく聞き、ルールを守って活動することで、Principled（信念をもつ人） の姿を見せてくれました。みんな一生懸命取り組みながら、楽しく参加していました！
Mother’s Day Craft
We made a special craft for Mother’s Day. The children used paint, glue, and stickers. They worked carefully and showed love in their art. We hope all the beloved mothers feel happy and cherished when they receive these special crafts from their little ones.
母の日に向けたクラフトでは、手のひらに絵の具をつけてハンドプリントをしてから、葉っぱをとハートのシールを貼り付けました。冷たい絵の具の感触を楽しみ、指先の力を加減しながらシールをめくる練習もしました。葉っぱを貼り付ける位置はそれぞれ個性が現れ、世界に一つの素敵なプレゼントを、心を込めて丁寧に作っていました🌸
小さな子どもたちからの特別なクラフトを受け取って、すべてのお母さまたちが幸せな気持ちになり、大切に想われていることを感じていただけたら嬉しいです。
The Week Ahead
Next week, we will continue learning through play. We will continue exploring our SHAPES topic and practicing many skills. The children will keep growing as Inquirers and Reflective learners. We will work together, help each other, and have fun. We are excited for another great week!
来週も、遊びを通して楽しく学びを続けていきます。引き続き「SHAPES（かたち）」のトピックを探究しながら、さまざまなスキルに触れていきます。
子どもたちは、Inquirers（探究する人） や Reflective（振り返りができる人） として、これからも成長していくことでしょう。みんなで協力し合い、お互いを助けながら、楽しい時間を過ごしていきたいと思います。
