Hello Everyone!
What a wonderful week we have had at preschool! Our children enjoyed a fantastic mix of UOI unit 2 learning, phonics, dance, swimming, and music lessons, giving them plenty of opportunities to move, explore, create, discover, learn and have fun together.
プレスクールでの一週間は、本当に素晴らしいものとなりました！子供たちは、UOI2での学びをはじめ、フォニックス、ダンス、水泳、音楽のレッスンなど、多彩な活動を楽しみました。こうした活動を通じて、体を動かしたり、探究・創造・発見・学習をしたり、そして皆で一緒に楽しんだりと、充実した時間を過ごすことができました。
UOI 2 – Different kinds of Animals
This week, our preschoolers went on an exciting journey of learning and discovering different kinds of animals! Through play, stories, songs, dances, and hands-on activities, the children explored the wonderful world of animals and learned how each one is unique.
今週、子供たちは、さまざまな動物について学び、発見するワクワクするような旅に出かけました！遊びや物語、歌、ダンス、そして体験型のアクティビティを通じて、子供たちは動物の素晴らしい世界を探求し、それぞれの動物が持つユニークな特徴について学びました。
We discovered animals that live in different places, including pets, farm animals, wild animals, birds, insects, and sea creatures. The children enjoyed identifying animals, making their sounds, moving like them, and talking about where they live.
私たちは、ペット、家畜、野生動物、鳥、昆虫、海の生き物など、さまざまな場所に生息する動物について知りました。子供たちは、動物の名前を当てたり、鳴きまねや動きを真似たり、それぞれの生息地について話し合ったりして楽しみました。
We also learned an important lesson about how to care for animals. The children discovered that animals need food, fresh water, shelter, and a safe place to live. We talked about being gentle and kind to animals, respecting their space, and never teasing or hurting them.
私たちはまた、動物の世話の仕方について大切なことを学びました。子供たちは、動物には食べ物や新鮮な水、雨風をしのげる場所、そして安全な住処が必要であることを知りました。さらに、動物には優しく接すること、彼らの領域を尊重すること、そして決していじめたり傷つけたりしないことについても話し合いました。
Through pretend play, the children had fun taking care of toy animals by feeding, brushing, and looking after them.
子供たちはごっこ遊びを通して、おもちゃの動物に餌をあげたり、ブラシをかけたり、お世話をしたりして楽しみました。
Most importantly, our little animal explorers learned that every animal is special and deserves kindness and care. 🐶🐱🐰🐠🦋

💃 Dance Lesson
Our dance lesson was full of energy and smiles! The children enjoyed moving their bodies to music, learning simple dance steps, and practicing different movements. They jumped, twirled, stretched, and danced along with enthusiasm.
ダンスのレッスンは、エネルギーと笑顔にあふれていました！子供たちは、音楽に合わせて体を動かしたり、簡単なダンスのステップを覚えたり、さまざまな動きを練習したりして楽しみました。ジャンプや回転、ストレッチなどを取り入れながら、みんな夢中になって踊っていました。
Dance is a wonderful way for children to develop balance, coordination, confidence, and body awareness, while also encouraging creativity and self-expression. It was lovely to see everyone joining in and enjoying the music! Everyone’s been working hard practicing their dance for the upcoming sports festival.
ダンスは、子供たちがバランス感覚や身体の協調性、自信、そして自分の身体への意識を養うとともに、創造性や自己表現力を育む素晴らしい活動です。みんなが音楽に合わせて楽しそうに参加している姿は、とても素敵でした！今度の運動会に向けて、みんな一生懸命ダンスの練習に励んでいます。
🏊 Swimming Lesson
The children also had lots of fun in the pool during their swimming lesson. They practiced important water skills, including kicking, moving through the water, and becoming more comfortable and confident in the pool.
子供たちは水泳のレッスン中、プールでとても楽しく過ごしました。キックや水中での移動といった重要な動作を練習し、プールでの動きに慣れて自信を深めていきました。
Swimming lessons provide valuable opportunities to develop physical strength, coordination, confidence, and water safety awareness.
水泳のレッスンは、体力、身体の協調性、自信、そして水辺での安全に対する意識を養うための貴重な機会となります。
🎵 Music Lesson
Our music lesson brought plenty of rhythm and excitement to the week! The children explored different sounds, sang songs, played and enjoyed playing together.
音楽のレッスンは、今週にたくさんのリズムとワクワクするような楽しさをもたらしてくれました！子供たちはさまざまな音を探求したり、歌を歌ったり、みんなで一緒に演奏したりして楽しみました。
Through music, children can develop their listening skills, memory, language, rhythm, and social confidence. Most importantly, they had a wonderful time singing, playing, and expressing themselves.
音楽を通じて、子供たちは聴く力、記憶力、言語能力、リズム感、そして社会的な自信を育むことができます。何よりも、歌ったり、演奏したり、自分を表現したりして、素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。

From animal exploration, dancing and splashing to singing and making music, this week was filled with opportunities for learning through play and movement.
動物の観察やダンス、水遊びから、歌や音楽作りまで、今週は遊びや身体を動かすことを通じて学ぶ機会にあふれていました。
