Hello Everyone!
This week was full of excitement, movement, and smiles as everyone in Aurora and Rainbow class explored, learned, and played together through a variety of activities.
今週は、オーロラクラスとレインボークラスの全員が、さまざまなアクティビティを通して一緒に探求し、学び、遊んだため、興奮と動きと笑顔に満ち溢れていました。
Aurora – IB learner profile and UOI
In Aurora class kids have been learning more about our UOI – Who we are. Through fun activities kids get to discover more about themselves and their friends. We also looked at our IB learner profiles specifically about being caring, principled, risk takers and communicators. Everyone is eager to be a good friend and they like their friends.
オーロラクラスでは、子どもたちは「UOI（Who we are）」についてより深く学んでいます。楽しいアクティビティを通して、子どもたちは自分自身や友達についてより深く知ることができます。また、IBの学習者像、特に思いやり、倫理観、リスクを恐れない姿勢、コミュニケーション能力についても学びました。みんな良い友達になりたいと願っていて、友達のことが大好きです。
Sharing here photos of kids who are showing our IB learner Profile attributes. They are being risk takers when they try to eat veggies or food they haven’t tried yet during our lunch time. We have a lot of caring kids who love their teachers and friends. They are principled… they help arrange the chairs, they can line up nicely, they can hold their cups, they know how many times we gargle or wash our mouth and how much water we put in our cups. They clean up the sand pit area and more.
ここでは、IB学習者像の特性を示す子どもたちの写真をご紹介します。子どもたちは、昼食時に野菜やまだ食べたことのない食べ物に挑戦するなど、リスクを恐れずに挑戦しています。先生や友達を愛する、思いやりのある子どもたちがたくさんいます。彼らは規律正しく、椅子を並べたり、きちんと列に並んだり、コップを持ったり、うがいの回数やコップに入れる水の量を把握したりしています。砂場を掃除するなど、他にも様々なことをしてくれます。

Outdoor Adventures
The children had a wonderful time playing outdoors and enjoying the fresh air. They ran, climbed, balanced, and explored the playground with enthusiasm. Outdoor play encouraged teamwork, creativity, and physical development while giving everyone a chance to enjoy nature and make new discoveries.
子どもたちは戸外で遊び、新鮮な空気を満喫し、素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。走り回ったり、登ったり、バランスを取ったり、遊び場を探検したりと、子どもたちは熱心に遊びました。戸外での遊びは、チームワーク、創造性、身体の発達を促すとともに、自然を楽しみ、新たな発見をする機会を皆に与えてくれました。
Rainbow – Gym Class Fun
During gym class, the children practiced important movement skills through games and obstacle courses. They enjoyed jumping, balancing, throwing, and catching activities that helped build coordination, strength, and confidence. Their energy and determination were impressive to see!
ジムレッスンでは、子どもたちはゲームや障害物コースを通して、重要な運動能力を身につけました。ジャンプしたり、バランスを取ったり、投げたり、キャッチしたりといった活動を楽しみ、協調性、筋力、自信を養いました。子どもたちのエネルギーと決意は、本当に素晴らしいものでした！
Aurora – Dance Lesson
Our dance lesson brought plenty of excitement and creativity. The children moved to music, learned simple dance steps, and expressed themselves through movement. They had fun following rhythms, using their imaginations, and dancing with their friends.
ダンスレッスンは、子どもたちにたくさんの喜びと創造性をもたらしました。音楽に合わせて体を動かし、簡単なダンスステップを学び、動きを通して自己表現をしました。リズムに合わせて踊ったり、想像力を働かせたり、友達と踊ったりして、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。
Swimming Success
Swimming class was another highlight of the week. The children practiced water safety skills and became more comfortable moving in the water. They worked on kicking, floating, and building confidence while having lots of fun splashing and playing in a safe environment.
水泳教室も今週のハイライトの一つでした。子どもたちは安全に泳ぐ為のスキルを練習し、水中での動きに慣れていきました。安全な環境の中で、キックや浮き方を練習したり、水しぶきを上げたり、楽しく遊びながら、自信を育んでいきました。
Music Class
In music class, the children explored different sounds. They enjoyed keeping the beat, listening carefully, and participating in musical games. Music continues to support language development, creativity, and joyful self-expression.
音楽の授業で、子どもたちはさまざまな音を探求しました。リズムを刻んだり、注意深く耳を傾けたり、音楽ゲームに参加したりして楽しみました。音楽は、言語発達、創造性、そして喜びにあふれた自己表現を支え続けています。
Looking Back on a Great Week
It has been a wonderful week filled with active learning, laughter, and new experiences. We are proud of how enthusiastically the children participated in each activity and how they supported one another along the way. We look forward to another exciting week of learning and fun together!
活発な学び、笑い、そして新しい経験に満ちた素晴らしい一週間でした。子どもたちがそれぞれの活動に熱心に参加し、互いに支え合ったことを誇りに思います。また、次の週も一緒に学び、楽しい時間を過ごせることを楽しみにしています！
