To all parents,
Corey and I would like to firstly thank you for your trust in us to send your children on this trip! We had a fantastic time with everyone and 8 days went by so fast! We really hope your kids had the time of their lives and that they went home with endless stories to tell you. Of course we would love to hear feedback both from you as parents and from your children who experienced the tour. If you have anything you’d like to share with us, good or bad, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Once again, thank you all for your support and we hope everyone enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed showing them Sydney!

2026 Sydney Study Tour Day 8 | Final Adventures & Farewell Sydney! ✈️
On Sunday, March 29, our original plan was to spend the morning shopping for souvenirs before having lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Market. However, when we checked in with the students that morning, every single one of them informed us that they were not interested in eating fish! With a unanimous vote against seafood, we quickly adjusted our plans and headed instead to the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), one of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks.
Known for its stunning architecture and often described as one of the most beautiful shopping centres in the world, the QVB provided the perfect setting for our final shopping experience in Sydney. Students enjoyed browsing for souvenirs and taking in the beauty of the historic building.
Afterward, rather than visiting the Fish Market, we walked to Darling Harbour, one of Sydney’s most scenic waterfront destinations.
The students spent time exploring the area, enjoying the sunshine, and relaxing by the water. It was a wonderful way to spend our final day in the city.
Back at the hotel, we made one last attempt to experience some uniquely Australian foods. Since we were unable to find kangaroo meat for our BBQ the previous day, we purchased a selection of exotic jerky, including kangaroo, emu, and crocodile. Everyone chose something they were curious about and gave it a try.
While the students were certainly brave and willing to experiment, it is fair to say that these unusual snacks were not everyone’s favorite!✖
Later in the afternoon, we held a certificate presentation ceremony to celebrate the completion of the tour. Each student received a certificate recognizing their participation, effort, and achievements throughout the past eight days.
Looking back, the students accomplished so much during their time in Sydney—from debates and presentations to cultural experiences, local school visits, museum tours, wildlife encounters, and beach activities.
It was wonderful to see how much confidence they gained throughout the journey.
Finally, it was time to head to Sydney Airport.
After arriving by taxi, we said our farewells to the Deep Dive team, who had guided and supported the students throughout the entire experience. Although the week seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, the friendships, memories, and lessons learned will undoubtedly stay with us for years to come.
Before departing, the Deep Dive team shared the following message with all families:
