For the past week, the weather has been gray and rainy, but the Rainforest class has learned not to simply wait for the storm to pass, but to dance in the rain and make the most of every experience!
Another teamwork adventure was successfully achieved—this time, not only within the Rainforest team, but together with our friends from the Milky Way class of Minami Campus!
Fully equipped with rain boots, arm covers, and caps, the whole gang headed to the vineyard for a very special grape-harvesting experience. Despite the weather, both classes were super excited and focused on their mission: to find the paper they had drawn on at the beginning of the school year, locate their grapes, and harvest them!
The children eagerly searched around the vineyard for their special grapes, helping one another along the way and enjoying the excitement of finally finding their little treasures.
A big thank you to our Milky Way parent for inviting us to enjoy this wonderful experience. We feel very special and grateful to have been given this opportunity! 🍇❤️
Back in the classroom, we have also been busy catching up with our learning. In Phonics, we explored words with the /ch/ sound. It was already a familiar sound for many of the children, so they quickly began reading words containing /ch/ and thinking of more words with the same sound on their own.
And now, it is time for a well-deserved break!
We hope everyone has a wonderful Silver Week, filled with fun experiences and special memories. We are already looking forward to hearing all the children’s stories about their adventures when we see them again after the long holiday!

雨の日も楽しもう！🍇🌧️
ここ最近は、曇りや雨の日が続いていますね。そんなお天気の中でも、Rainforestの子どもたちは元気いっぱい！雨がやむのを待つのではなく、**「雨の日だからこそ楽しめることを楽しもう！」**という気持ちで、今週もさまざまな活動を楽しみました。
今週はRainforestクラスだけでなく、Minami CampusのMilky Wayクラスのお友だちとも一緒に、素敵なチームワークを経験することができました！
長靴、アームカバー、帽子と、雨の日の準備もばっちり整えて、みんなでぶどう畑へ出発！今回のミッションは、年度の初めに自分たちが絵を描いた紙を探し、その場所のぶどうを収穫することです。
子どもたちはワクワクしながら畑の中を歩き回り、「どこかな？」と自分のぶどうを一生懸命探していました。RainforestとMilky Wayのお友だち同士で助け合う姿も見られ、まるで宝探しのような楽しい時間になりました。🍇
このような貴重な体験にご招待くださったMilky Wayクラスの保護者の方に、心より感謝いたします。 子どもたちにとって、とても特別で素敵な経験となりました。ありがとうございました！
もちろん、教室での学びも進んでいます！Phonicsでは、今週 /ch/ の音を含む単語を探究しました。子どもたちにとって比較的なじみのある音だったこともあり、/ch/ の入った単語をスムーズに読んだり、「ほかにはどんな単語があるかな？」と自分たちで考えたりする姿が見られました。
そして、いよいよSilver Weekですね！
ご家族で楽しい時間を過ごし、素敵な思い出がたくさんできますように。連休明けには、子どもたちからどんなお休みのお話が聞けるのか、今から楽しみにしています！
