Our summative assessments have been going well so far. We are learning a lot and are ready for the next unit. Thursday was the last day of assessments so we continued our math studies Friday.
今回の総括的評価（アセスメント）は順調にすすんでいます。今回のユニットでたくさんの事を学び、次回にすすむ準備は万端です。木曜日には全員のアセスメントが終了したので、金曜日のAfternoon Circle Timeでは、数の学習をしました。
Tuesday was not a pool day so we did a craft. The students made grapes by rolling and gluing some strips together then taping them onto another piece of paper. The had a lot of fun. It took us a couple of days to finish the craft since we Did writing as well.
今週の火曜日はスイミングレッスンがなかったので、クラフトをしました。長細い紙の端に糊をつけて、紙を丸めて端と端を押さえて１，２，３と数えながらくっつけました。そのロールした紙を両面テープのついた紙に貼り付けGrapesを作りました！みんなとっても真剣に取り組んでいました。ライティング練習を同時にしながら行ったので、2日間かけて全員のクラフトを仕上げました。

Thursday we started one of our Halloween crafts. The students are going to make spider webs and it requires a lot of work so we decided to split the craft over a few days. First they are going to paint then later on they will do some threading.
木曜日も雨だったので教室でハロウィンのクラフトをすることにしました。これからクモの巣を作る予定ですが、時間がかかる作業なので何日かに分けて作業をします。今回は土台になる紙皿に色を塗り、次回は毛糸を編んでクモの巣を作ります♪

Friday we had our birthday party! The students have been so excited for the party, especially the September birthday celebrants. It’s so fun to see what the teachers in charge for the party that month come up with. We have so many talented teachers here. After the party we decided to go to the park since the weather was so nice. It rained Thursday so we weren’t able to go.
金曜日は9月生まれのお友達のお誕生日会をしました。みんなこの日を心待ちにしてましたが、特に9月生まれのお友達にとっては待ちに待った日になりました。ISNの先生たちはいろんな特技を持っているので、毎回の誕生日会で先生の出し物を見るのはとても楽しみです。誕生日会の後は、公園に出かけました。木曜日は天候が悪く行けなかったので、金曜日は行けて良かったです。
