Fatemeh Azam Mofidi (Rosa)
Vice Principal
It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to our campus.
Hello, my name is Fatemeh Azam Mofidi (Rosa), and I am the Vice Principal at the International School of Nagano — Gojo Campus. I feel truly honoured to be part of such a vibrant, caring, and internationally minded school community. Surrounded by the rich natural environment and abundant regional resources of the Shiga area, our campus provides children with wonderful opportunities to explore, discover, and connect their learning with the world around them.
At ISN, we believe that education goes far beyond the classroom. Learning should inspire curiosity, encourage children to ask meaningful questions, develop confidence and compassion, and help them understand that their ideas and actions can make a positive difference. We aim to nurture students who are not only knowledgeable, but also open-minded, reflective, courageous, and ready to contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.
My own journey in education has been shaped by many cultures and experiences. These experiences have strengthened my appreciation for diversity, languages, cultures, and different perspectives. Every stage of this journey has brought me new insights and inspiration, as well as a deeper understanding of the important role educators play in supporting each child’s growth and development.
At Gojo Campus, we want every child to feel known, valued, supported, and excited to come to school each day. We celebrate each student’s individuality while encouraging them to respect others, embrace challenges, learn from their experiences, and discover their own unique strengths and potential.
Whether you are already part of our community or are considering joining us for the first time, you are warmly welcomed into our ISN family. I look forward to sharing many joyful moments, meaningful learning experiences, and wonderful memories with our students and families as we continue to nurture future leaders who will inspire others and make a positive impact on the world.
