Grade 4 students recently had the exciting opportunity to try cricket as part of their physical education program. For many students, this was their first experience with the sport, making it a valuable cultural learning experience as well as a chance to develop new movement skills.

Students learned how to bat, bowl, catch, and work together as a team. Cricket encouraged them to develop hand-eye coordination, balance, agility, and strategic thinking while having fun outdoors.

Exploring sports from different cultures helps students build global awareness and appreciation for traditions enjoyed around the world. It also encourages them to step outside their comfort zones and confidently try new activities.

We were impressed by the students’ enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to learn something new. Well done, Grade 4!
