A new season begins! Hello everyone, I am Thapelo Dube, the new grade 1 homeroom teacher, and I hope you are doing well. We had a very beautiful welcome ceremony for the new grade 1 students of Gojo Campus, and I must say that the students looked amazing, and it was an absolute pleasure to meet all the parents, and even the grandparents as well. The ISN students, teachers and staff members all welcomed the grade 1 students with such a warm spirit, as that was greatly appreciated. We looked forward to the school year, and the adventure we will all go on.

There are numerous new things that grade 1 are being introduced to, and that includes P.E class. This week, we also had our first P.E class which was being good and exciting for us all. We played dogdeball and the students did well to warm up, and prepare for our P.E game.

This week we also had a traffic safety class with members of the police force from the Matsumoto City department, and the students got to learn about how to use the bus in a safe way. We also had the chance to get on the driver’s seat and have a feel of how to drive a big bus.

ISN Gojo Campus had an assembly this week regarding the school campus essential agreements and this was a good introduction for the new grade 1 students to our rules and common language. The students were also introduced to the school’s interest clubs, and they will select an interest club of their choice.

We also enjoyed the last bits of beautiful spring cherry blossoms, and took a nice group photo outside along with the Japanese treacher, Mrs. Miyo Kamazaki. I hope that you have a good weekend, and take care. See you soon!
