It goes without saying that the highlight of this week was our Sports Festival! A very warm thank you to all the parents, guardians, and visitors who joined us and cheered us on. Your smiles, encouragement, and enthusiastic cheers helped create such a vibrant and exciting atmosphere!
Our Rainbow students did an amazing job in their Sports Festival debut! 🌈 They showed so much courage and enthusiasm as they ran, moved, danced, and participated in all the activities. It was wonderful to see their big smiles and excitement during the few minutes they were with us. For our little ones, it was their first time taking part in such a big school event, and we are so proud of how they gave everything a try!
A big well done to all of our Rainbow learners! You were fantastic, and we hope you had as much fun as we did watching you shine! 🌟
今週の一番のハイライトは、なんといっても運動会！✨
皆さまの温かい笑顔や応援に包まれ、子どもたちのキラキラした笑顔やワクワクした表情を見ることができ、とても嬉しかったです🌈✨
小さな子どもたちにとっては、初めて参加する大きな行事。ドキドキする場面もあったと思いますが、一人ひとり挑戦してみようとする姿が本当に素敵でした。みんな、よく頑張りました！🌈
Park
This week, we had many opportunities to go outdoors and explore the beautiful nature around us! We are now becoming experts at walking to the park together as a class! 🌳😊
今週は、外に出て身近な自然に触れながら遊ぶ機会がたくさんありました！
みんなで公園まで歩いて行くことにもすっかり慣れ、友だちと一緒に歩きながら、季節の自然を楽しんでいます。
What insect is that?
We made insect-themed masks, and as we continued exploring our insect topic, our little learners practiced using simple phrases during circle time and free play, such as “I am a butterfly!” and “This is a bee!” It was wonderful to see them building their confidence and using their new insect vocabulary in fun and meaningful ways. 🦋🐝
サークルタイムやFree Playでは、好きな虫を選んで作ったお面を頭にかぶり「I am a butterfly!」「This is a bee!」など、英語で表現する姿も見られました。敬老の日のプレゼントでは、「Dragonflyだよ！」と楽しみながら知っている言葉を使って伝えようとする姿が少しずつ増えています。
「これ、なんていう虫かな？」と興味を持ったことをきっかけに、新しい言葉を知り、実際に使ってみたりしながら、子どもたちは楽しんで学んでいます。🌱

Next week, after Silver Week, we will continue exploring our insect topic and discovering as many fun and interesting things about insects as we can! 🐛🦋🐞
In the meantime, enjoy the long holiday and take some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some special moments with your loved ones. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!
