This week at preschool was full of exciting “firsts” and happy moments as everyone at Rainbow class and Aurora class explored new activities together this week!

Aurora Dance Lesson 

Aurora had their very first Dance Lesson this week. At first, some children were a little shy, but as the music began, they started to move, smile, and enjoy themselves. They practiced simple steps, moved to the beat, and had fun expressing their energy through movement. It was lovely to see their confidence grow.

Rainbow Gym Lesson

Rainbow had their first Gym Lesson. The children practiced basic skills like crawling, rolling, and stretching. They listened carefully and tried their best in each activity. It was wonderful to see them challenged themselves as they learned new physical skills.

Music Lesson

Another highlight was the Music class, it was the first time for most of the Rainbow kids, for Aurora it was their first day back to class. The children learned about rhythm. The room was filled with laughter and music as they enjoyed moving to the sounds together. Aurora Kids pretended to be animals. They moved like the elephant with its long big trunk, then they hopped like cute bunnies and they scurried like tiny squirrels. They also played with colorful scarves, they played and danced with it to a beat.

During the week, we also spent time at the park. The children enjoyed running, climbing, and playing games with their friends. It was a great opportunity for them to use their energy, build friendships, and enjoy the outdoors.

In Aurora class, we introduced Groupings as well, helping the children get to know their smaller groups. Through simple activities and games, they began building connections and learning to work together. This is an important step in developing relationships, social skills and a sense of belonging especially for the newcomers. 

It has been a wonderful week of new experiences, learning, and fun. We are so proud of the children for trying new things with such enthusiasm. We look forward to another exciting week ahead!
