ISN Nakano campus opens in 2024
New ISN campus in Nakano-shi LLC WIP, provides International School of Nagano (ISN) preschool in Matsumoto, Nagano, and Ueda, is pleased to announce the opening of ISN Nakano campus as our new regional base in Northern Nagano.
The campus is located in the former Nagaoka Elementary School in Hekida, Nakano City. HUBLIC (hublicnakano.com), a Nakano City childcare support center, for which WIP is the designated manager, is already in operation. Opposite the building of HUBLIC is designated for ISN Nakano Campus.
Children eligible for admission to ISN Nakano Campus are between 2 and 5 years old (preschool age). We anticipate our new campus to also operate for different age groups in the future.
First International preschool in Nakano
International School of Nagano was established in 2012 in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. We are working to provide a world-class educational environment for living and learning in rural areas. We are developing learning environments in several regions with local people, where students gain not only language skills but also a deeper and richer understanding of their local culture, as well as a broad and balanced worldview.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
One of the best parts of the IB program is the limitless learning method in which discoveries and ideas are developed in a way that is unique to the individual through the interactive method between teacher and student and among students. Teachers evaluate their students from multiple perspectives, including their attitudes towards learning and learning methods. Therefore, we are able to demonstrate the value of individuality in each student.
