Hello, dear Parents and Friends!
The temperature has been rising, and the summer heat is definitely here! To help everyone stay cool, our students had a wonderful time enjoying water play. They happily splashed in the water, cooled their bodies, and spent the day feeling refreshed and comfortable. Their cheerful laughter and smiling faces showed just how much fun they were having!
Our young learners have also been enjoying our Unit of Inquiry about animals. They loved playing with the stuffed animal toys and used their wonderful imaginations to engage in pretend play. Many children took on the role of veterinarians, while others became caring pet owners, treating their “sick” animals with kindness and compassion. Through this meaningful play, they developed their communication, creativity, and empathy while learning how to care for animals.

気温も上がり、いよいよ本格的な夏の暑さがやってきました！涼しさを楽しむために、子どもたちは水遊びの時間を満喫しました。水しぶきを上げて喜び、体を冷やしながら、爽やかで快適な一日を過ごしました。楽しそうな笑い声や笑顔から、子どもたちが心から楽しんでいる様子が伝わってきました！
また、子どもたちは「動物」をテーマにした探究学習にも夢中で取り組んでいます。特にぬいぐるみが大好きで、豊かな想像力を働かせながら「ごっこ遊び」を楽しんでいます。獣医さんになりきったり、優しいペットの飼い主になったりして、「病気」の動物たちを思いやりを持って優しくお世話する姿も見られました。こうした有意義な遊びを通じて、動物のお世話の仕方を学ぶと同時に、コミュニケーション能力や創造力、そして共感する心も育んでいます。
The children also had a great time painting different animal habitats and sorting the animals according to where they live. They confidently shared their ideas and explained why certain animals belong in specific habitats. It was wonderful to see how much knowledge they have gained through their own experiences, observations, and classroom learning. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring the animal world continue to grow each day, making our inquiry both meaningful and enjoyable.
We are so proud of our students for their eagerness to learn, their creativity, and the joy they bring to our classroom every day. We look forward to many more exciting learning adventures together!
子供たちは、さまざまな動物の生息環境を描いたり、動物をその生息地ごとに分類したりして、楽しい時間を過ごしました。彼らは自信を持って自分の考えを発表し、なぜその動物がその場所に生息するのかを説明してくれました。自らの体験や観察、そして教室での学びを通じて、彼らがどれほど多くの知識を身につけたかを知ることができ、大変嬉しく思いました。動物の世界を探求しようとする子供たちの好奇心と熱意は日々高まっており、それによって私たちの探究活動は、より有意義で楽しいものになっています。
学ぶことへの意欲や創造性、そして毎日教室に喜びをもたらしてくれる子供たちを、私たちはとても誇りに思っています。これからも、共にワクワクするような学びの冒険を続けていけることを楽しみにしています！
Number Recognition
We continue to take our time building a strong foundation in number recognition before introducing bigger numbers. This week, our focus was on numbers 5 and 6. Through a variety of fun, hands-on activities and games, the children practiced recognizing, counting, matching, and identifying these numbers in different ways.
It has been wonderful to see how enthusiastic and eager our students are to learn. They confidently participated in each activity, challenged themselves, and celebrated their successes along the way. We are so proud of the progress they are making and the confidence they are developing in recognizing numbers.
私たちは、より大きな数字を扱う前に、まずは数字の基礎を身に付ける事に力を入れています。今週は「5」と「6」の数字に焦点を当てました。子供たちは、楽しく体験型の活動やゲームを通じて、これらの数字を認識したり、数えたり、マッチングさせたり、様々な方法で識別したりする練習をしました。
子供たちが意欲的に学習に取り組む姿は、見ていて本当に素晴らしいものです。彼らは自信を持って各活動に参加し、新しいことに挑戦し、その過程で成功を喜び合っていました。子供たちの着実な成長と、数字を認識することへの自信を深めている姿を、私たちは大変誇らしく思っています。
Birthday Celebration
This week, we had the joy of celebrating the birthdays of two of our wonderful students! It is truly heartwarming to watch them grow and blossom each day, not only in their learning but also in their confidence, friendships, and independence.
We hope they had a very special and memorable birthday surrounded by their classmates and teachers. We wish them good health, happiness, and many exciting adventures as they continue to learn, play, and discover new things every day. Happy Birthday!
今週は、クラスの生徒2人の誕生日をお祝いするという嬉しい出来事がありました！学習面だけでなく、自信や友人関係、そして自立心といった面でも、日々成長し輝きを増していく彼らの姿を見るのは、本当に心温まるものです。
クラスメートや先生たちに囲まれ、特別で思い出に残る誕生日を過ごせたなら幸いです。これからも毎日、学び、遊び、新しい発見を重ねながら、健やかで幸せな日々を送り、たくさんのワクワクするような冒険に出会えることを願っています。お誕生日おめでとう！
