We started Unit 3 with an exciting provocation! The learners participated in a gallery walk, where they explored different celebrations around the world. As they observed the pictures, they shared their ideas and made guesses about what our next Unit of Inquiry would be about. It was a wonderful opportunity to spark their curiosity and encourage them to think about the different ways people celebrate around the world.
今週から、いよいよUOI 3「Celebrations（お祝い・行事）」がスタートしました！導入として、ギャラリーウォークに挑戦しました。世界各地のお祝いの写真を見て回りながら、「何のお祝いかな？」「何をしているんだろう？」と、気づいたことや自分の考えをみんなで共有しました😊写真をじっくり観察しながら、次のUOIではどんなことを探究するのか、想像を膨らませる子どもたち。さまざまなお祝いの様子を見比べることで、世界にはいろいろな祝い方があることにも興味を持ち始めています！
After the summer break, our learners had the chance to walk to the park again! They enjoyed spending time outdoors, exploring their surroundings, and playing with their Aurora friends. It was a wonderful opportunity for the learners to reconnect with nature, strengthen their friendships, and enjoy playing together in the fresh air.
夏の暑い時期が過ぎ、久しぶりにみんなで公園まで歩いてお出かけしてきました！外の空気を感じながら、周りの景色を楽しんだり、Auroraクラスのお友だちと一緒に遊んだりと、楽しい時間を過ごしました😊自然の中で思いきり体を動かしながら、お友だちとの仲もさらに深まった様子の子どもたち。久しぶりの公園遊びを満喫しました☆
During music lessons, the learners learned new songs, including their new favorite, “Kinoko”! They sang along enthusiastically and had fun learning the lyrics and melody. They also continued practicing the pianica, developing their musical skills while enjoying their time making music together.
Musicレッスンでは、新しい歌をいくつか教えてもらいました🎵 その中でも、今みんなのお気に入りになっているのが「きのこ」です🍄！子どもたちは歌詞やメロディーを覚えながら、元気いっぱいに歌うことを楽しんでいます😊また、鍵盤ハーモニカの練習も引き続き頑張っています🎹。 みんなで音を楽しみながら、少しずつ演奏する力も身につけています♪
