Hello dear parents and friends! 🍂
As we say goodbye to the warm summer days and welcome the beautiful season of autumn, our learners have been enjoying the cooler weather and spending more time outdoors. It is the perfect time to explore, discover, and enjoy nature together!
Our learners had a lovely stroll to the park, where they enjoyed running around, playing, and observing the changes in their surroundings. They were especially excited to chase dragonflies flying around the park and searched carefully for little insects hiding among the grass and plants. 🦋🐞

We also enjoyed plenty of outdoor play in our yard, giving our learners the opportunities to move their bodies, play with their friends, and enjoy the fresh autumn air.
Learning All About Bees 🐝
Last week, one of our learner’s parents kindly visited our class to share their knowledge and expertise about bees. They listened attentively and were fascinated to learn more about these amazing insects. Their curiosity quickly grew, and many thoughtful questions sparked throughout the talk.
Our guest showed us a real beehive, where bees live and make honey, and explained the important ways bees help people and our environment. This experience connected beautifully with our inquiry into animals and how people and animals share the planet.
Through this special learning experience, our learners developed a deeper understanding of bees and reflected on how we can care for and respect them when we see them in our environment. After the talk, our guest kindly prepared little jars of honey for all the learners, and we were delighted to receive them!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guest for taking the time to visit Aurora class and share their knowledge, experience, and passion with us. Your visit made our learning meaningful, engaging, and memorable! 🐝🍯

Gym Day: Moving Like Animals! 🐾
Our learners had a wonderful time during Gym Day! They listened attentively to Ms. Airi and followed her instructions so well. We were amazed by how calmly and confidently they participated, and it was lovely to see how much they have grown.
The comfortable temperature in the gym made it a perfect day for exercising, moving their bodies, and having fun. The children especially enjoyed pretending to be different animals and exploring how each animal moves. They crawled like insects, jumped like frogs, and moved their bodies in many creative ways!
It was wonderful to see our learners enjoying physical activity while connecting their movement to our animal inquiry. What a fun way to learn, move, and grow together! 🐰🐸

A Sweet Farewell to Our Dear Friend 💛
We were sad to say goodbye to one of our dear friends, who is moving to another prefecture with his family. To make his last days with us special, we enjoyed some farewell activities together, giving the children an opportunity to express their love and appreciation for their friend.
It was a bittersweet but happy farewell, filled with smiles, laughter, and warm memories. It was wonderful to see how the children showed their friendship and care for one another.
We will miss you so much, our dear friend! 💛 We wish you a wonderful time at your new school and hope you make many new friends and create lots of happy memories. We will always remember the special time we shared together! 🌈✨

Wrapping Up Our Animal Inquiry 🐾
As we came to the end of our Unit 2 inquiry about animals, the children had an opportunity to reflect on everything they have learned throughout the unit. We completed a special reflection worksheet where the students were invited to draw animals they know, the food animals eat, how we can care for animals, and the ways animals help people.
The worksheet was divided into different sections, and the children listened carefully to the instructions as we worked through each category together. It was wonderful to see how confidently they recalled their learning and shared their ideas through drawings and simple explanations.
Through this activity, the children were able to demonstrate their growing understanding of animals’ needs, the importance of caring for and respecting animals, and the ways people and animals can help one another. They reflected on many of the meaningful experiences from our unit, from caring for animals and observing insects to learning about animal products and their relationship with people.
We are so proud of how much our Aurora students have learned and how their curiosity, care, and respect for animals have grown throughout this inquiry. What a wonderful way to wrap up our animal learning journey! 🌿🐝🐄🐶

Thank you, as always, dear parents and friends, for your continued support and encouragement. We hope you enjoy reading about our learners’ wonderful learning experiences and the special moments we shared together. We look forward to another fun-filled week of learning, exploring, and growing together! 🌈✨
