This week was filled with smiles, laughter, and exciting learning experiences as our children continued to enjoy the summer season at school!
今週も、学校で夏の季節を楽しみながら、子供たちは笑顔と笑い声にあふれ、ワクワクするような学びの体験を重ねて過ごしました！
To stay cool during the warm weather, everyone had a wonderful time with water play and the pool. They splashed, poured, and explored with water while developing their coordination, teamwork, and confidence. It was a refreshing and joyful way to spend time outdoors!
暖かい気候の中、みんなで水遊びやプールを楽しみ、涼しく快適なひとときを過ごしました。水を掛け合ったり、注いだり、水に触れて遊んだりする中で、身体の協調性やチームワーク、そして自信を育んでいきました。屋外で過ごす、爽やかで楽しい時間となりました！
When indoors, the children stayed busy with a variety of fun activities, we had workstations in class where in kids can freely choose what kind of activity they want to do, we had creative play, games, and hands-on learning experiences.
室内では、子供たちはさまざまな楽しい活動に夢中になって過ごしました。教室には「ワークステーション」を設け、子供たちが自分の好きな活動を自由に選べるようにし、創造的な遊びやゲーム、体験型の学習などを行いました。
This week they also enjoyed their energetic dance lessons, where they practiced movement, rhythm, and self-expression while having lots of fun with their friends.
今週は、元気いっぱいのダンスレッスンも楽しみました。友達と一緒に大いに盛り上がりながら、動きやリズム、そして自己表現の練習に取り組みました。
In the classroom, our young learners continued building their early literacy skills through phonics, practicing letter sounds, practicing their writing skills, recognizing the letters and words of the same letter, and at the same time they got creative making their Alphabet craft. Kids also familiarize themselves with the corresponding small letters of our target Alphabets for this month.
教室では、子供たちがフォニックスや文字の音の練習、書く練習、そして同じ文字や単語の識別などを通じて、読み書きの基礎となる力を育み続けました。同時に、アルファベットを題材にした工作にも取り組み、創造力を発揮しました。また、今月の学習対象であるアルファベットについて、それに対応する小文字にも親しみました。
As part of our IB Unit of Inquiry 2, the children explored the fascinating world of different kinds of animals. We are now exploring our LOI 1 learning about the different kinds of animal. Everyone had fun guessing the names of the animal when we played the guessing game. We also learned some animal movements while dancing to an animal dance song.
IBの「探究の単元2（Unit of Inquiry 2）」の一環として、子供たちはさまざまな動物の魅力的な世界について探究しました。現在は「探究の焦点1（LOI 1）」として、多種多様な動物について学んでいます。動物当てゲームでは、みんなで楽しく動物の名前を当て合いました。また、動物をテーマにしたダンス曲に合わせて踊りながら、動物の動きを真似る活動も楽しみました。
We also celebrated our July birthdays with a cheerful birthday celebration! It was a wonderful opportunity to make our birthday celebrants feel extra special as we sang, shared happy wishes, and enjoyed celebrating together as a school family.
7月生まれの皆さんのための、楽しいお誕生日会も開きました！歌を歌ったり、お祝いの言葉を交わしたり、学校という一つの家族として一緒にお祝いを楽しんだりする中で、主役の皆さんに特別な気分を味わってもらえる素晴らしい機会となりました。
It has been another exciting week filled with discovery, creativity, friendship, and fun.
発見、創造性、友情、そして楽しさに満ちた、また素晴らしい一週間でした。
We also want to say Thank you to all the moms, dads and family members who joined us during our Music open day. kids got excited that you can watch them, they all felt your love and support.
