Minami‑Matsumoto Campus Preschool

I have lived in Nagano for over ten years and graduated from a university in this region. Matsumoto, and the people who live here, are very special to me. As a student I worked as an English teacher, and that experience grew into a real passion for education. Teaching people of all ages taught me how differently each child learns, and how much it matters to meet each one where they are.

My background is in economics, which gave me a foundation in business management, strategic thinking and running an organisation. I believe that helps not only in making this a warm place to learn, but in keeping it stable and sustainable.

ISN’s vision — a world of choice for every child — is lived out here at Minami-Matsumoto. I believe deeply that early childhood is the foundation for a lifetime of learning. My goal is to build a warm, supportive environment where children grow in confidence, curiosity and the joy of learning.

Learning is a lifelong journey, and not only for children: it is one for educators and families too. I look forward to learning from one another and growing together. Here we value learning in English while staying connected to the local community, and I believe that balance is what helps children become themselves and reach out to the wider world.
